It gets into the need to redefine terms to avoid the sting of their truth, the malleability in conversation necessary to avoid direct retorts, and the necessity in "love of self" over "love of God" thus avoiding the objective for the self-congratulatory subjective.

Small, short, concise. You can easily finish it on a plane ride. Worth the stares if nothing else:)

Every Catholic should read this book. Especially chapter 14 on charity.

An eye-opener he lays out a well-made case of why one should not be sucked into the liberal way of thinking and why it is so dangerous. Amazing how he sounded the alarm so many years ago and yet liberalism is going strong not only in our society today but sadly even in the Catholic Church.
Such a wonderful book. Ordering copies to share with others ! Amazing how accurate/relevant in our modern times (book written in 1899) Fr. Felix Sarda Y Salvany was with LIBERALISM IS A SIN. A quick read pocket read of only 161 pages, but DO NOT underestimate the power of these words for our times. Truly a gift beyond words.
This is arguably the most important book I have ever read concerning the faith. In our times of brazen impiety and heresy, it's hard to discern what truly constitutes the foundations of Catholicism. No more. This book was one of the greatest blessings of my life in clearly teaching the Catholic faith of all time wholly devoid of modern heresies and errors which have infected our beloved church in our day. Read it. You will never look at the world and the Catholic faith the same again. I promise. Utterly paradigm shifting for 99%+ of American Catholics who grew up in a country founded by and built upon freemasonic principles which are in open rebellion to the infallible teachings of the Catholic Church.
